Okay there is this really profound and amazing thing that I want to share with you guys. But I am afraid that I won’t explain it right. I’m gonna try anyways though because if I succeed will have a greater respect for the God that you serve. I’m going to give you a little Chemistry lesson (No, Esther, don’t tune out. Stick with me).
In an atom there are subatomic particles-electrons, neutrons, and protons. The electrons “swim” around the nucleus that is made up of neutrons and protons. These electrons are held to the atom through gravity, eletromagnetism (sp?), and the weak force. And the protons are held in the nucleus by something called a strong force. Techincally these protons should not stay in such a compacted space. They should repulse each other. But this strong force keeps them together. My chemistry professor suggested that the reason why they stay together is because of God. He is the strong force. Colossians 1:17 says, “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” He personly holds every atom in everything that you can see, feel, taste, touch, imagine in His hand. It also says in the Bible that, “The day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.” So basically at the end of it all God is going to let go of all the nuclei (plural nucleus) and the “elements are going to be destroyed with intense heat.”
Amazing isn’t it. I hope I got across to you the wonder that I felt this morning sitting in class. I mean He not only knows how many hairs are on my head but He also knows how many atoms and molecules make up those hairs. And He holds them together. Just astounding.

Hey baby…it is so cool, dad was just talking about this topic (this very example in fact) during family devotions. I think it is so funny that man has been trying to come up with ways of explaining G-d away, when G-d himself really already explained everything in that little book. The three little amigos are leaving us tomorrow night by way of le plane, le plane. Daddy is escorting them and staying for a few days with his parents who live about 45 minutes from eachother. Daddy made a 99% on that test that he took in order to become a substitute teacher. He’ll be a temp. heh Just like on School of Rock movie! LOL Dewy, he IS a temp! LOL He’s EVEN “THE MAN!!!” WHOA! I wonder if there’s a septic tank out back for him to watch grass grow greener over! Anywhooo
Anabelle and I are gonna be heading to Florida in a week or two to do a painting job. Her brother has several contracts and condos to work at so he is suposedly gonna give us a condo to work in by ourselves. =) We’ll see how that works. I’m sure we’ll be lettin’ ya know.
