Sometimes we forget that God’s opinion is the only one that matters and that no other person can EVER fill us the way that He can. Not even the spouse that so many of us are dying to have. So on that note here are some bits of thought to munch on:
“If you want to change then begin to believe what God says about you more than you or others say about you.”
~Pastor Willie George of Church on the Move
“Now listen, daughter, don’t miss a word: forget your country, put your home behind you. Be here–the King is wild for you. Since He’s your Lord, adore Him.”
~Psalms 45:10-11 The Message Translation
“Are you living life as a painful test to prove that you deserve to be loved, or as an unceasing “YES” to the truth that you are His beloved?”
~Life of the Beloved by Henri J.M. Nouwen
Did you hear that? YOU are the King’s beloved! HE is wild for you! And there is nothing you can do to change that. So start living like it. Start living like you are the beloved of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Don’t look down, lift your chin. Not because you are truly worthy (your actions and past say that you aren’t) but because He called you to be more than that. He called you to be more than your sin, more than your past. He called you to be great…not prideful, just great. You have won His heart. Song of Solomon says, “You have made my heart beat faster, my sister, my bride; you have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, with a single strand of your necklace” (4:9-10).
Feel free to fall in love with Him. He will not let you down. He will speak to you. But don’t forget that you HAVE to spend time with Him just like you would with that “possible future spouse.” You have to get to know Him by listening to His words and watching His actions. Chase after Him. Don’t let yourself begin to fall away, push through the pain that you feel in your “body.” In the end, you will not regret it. He is your GREATEST REWARD, and He will satisfy your every need/desire (even the ones you didn’t know you had).
He will be the greatest thing that ever happened to you. I promise. You don’t have to wait to be asked…you are already invited.
Someday my prince will come but he will never take the place of my King.

That was beautiful. And thanks for the comments, I am absoutely smitten with what I’m doing. Just never seems to come up.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed my story… and that you tried to keep it cool, even when it was obviously lost… and so easily rectified, I think we all know you intended to leave it that way… that is, unless you wish otherwise!!… hmmm… yes, otherwise.

*clearing throat and tapping on the mic* hello? check… check… one, two, three. Is this thing on? *smiling* Yeeeeessss… it IS on! And therefore I can chalk on it! heh
I’m hoping to become addicted to this new style of communication with those that I love. In keeping with the fact that this IS open to the world, I’ll offer an apology for anything that I might say in the future that might embarrass my beloved ones. That will never be my intent.
May your days be filled with peace, your nights filled with rest… for He gives rest to His beloved. *taking a bite of the pomegranate*

Good stuff my dear. He loves you. I love you [though it pales in comparison]. I hope that this semester has started off good.

Enjoyed talking to you SO much last night even if I am paying for it today. You know what they say; I’m getting old, I need to go to bed. lol Anywho, just wanting to remind you and ALL those reading this comment that positive thinking will bring LIFE to you and those around you! =D
Oh my goodness- oh my GOODness! I just reread your quote from Pastor George Willie George of the Moving Church (heh)
It goes right along with my weblog today and my comment on your site! *sigh* Look at Jesus setting that up for us like that! ;] Sounds like He might be trying to say something! Hm! so cool
