Today is such a beautiful day…it was a bit of inspiration. Let’s see what was stirring…
In a place that was once bleak and dark
Love has come to awaken my heart
The cold winds have blown for far too long
Now it’s time to sing a brighter song
A new hope is rising from deep within
I begin to ignore the discouraging din
There is so much more to this life
Than the unrest, bitterness, and strife
Of the death of winter I must let go
And let the rains of springtime flow
The pain and grief I once held as mine
Must being taken from me as a sign
A sign that I am not too far gone
Now from Love my life must be drawn
The gardens must remember what they once bore
Beautiful fruits I am watching for
Green begins to push its way through
The skies are turn to a bright clear blue
This ideal land will not forever last
It will change as it has in the past
All times pass for a reason
So I will revel in this season
Kinda cheesy I know, but I wanted to capture the surprise that I felt this morning when I realized just how lush and green it was outside. I don’t know if I did, let me know what you think.
A fearfully budding creation,
Ashley

hmm. as an allegory you succeeded. if it was supposed to be an allegory or not… i dont know. but it was.
very nice.
Bootiful! i mean it, and you are too. I miss you. LOVE you Manias’
Hannah
and i LOVE that picture, om my goodness, your hair is so beautiful
I did think it was cheezy… but not very much so… only some, and overall, I think it was very good, and by far better than I think I could’ve done. I like it. and though it could easily be taken as literal or allegorical, it’s good either way, just more simple if taken literally.. .though, I think that most everything relates.. that’s why Jesus spoke in parables, and used stories, and God spoke in dreams about different things that mean something else, and God is a rock, stronghold.. etc.. because if you look at something, there are familiar things all over this world.. it’s like when Bro. Jesse Duplantis went to heaven and looked around and said “this looks like earth” and the angel said “yes, it is of the Lord’s taste”.. and “..for in Him all things were made that have been made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made”
well.. some of those thoughts don’t lead directly to one another, but it just came out.. in short, I like your writings… or whatever you’d like to call it. You’re cool, my friend. talk to you later Ashley

oh yeah… nice picture too. it’s good to know that you go to places that are open… and not uh.. closed? you know what? forget it… I like your picture ok? and yes yes.. good hair. if only I had that… it might not look as good as me. and I might not be as pretty as you, but you know… I’m ok with that. yes, this is a good thing

=) There you are! Budding poet. Crocus? (no pun intended) My lil physician in the making. I LOVED knowing that I was RIGHT there when that picture was taken! *bows to the uproar of an applauding audience* Yes, it’s nice. I have news… I was at the VERY same beach we went to with you and Amy and Joy just last Friday! I have a nice shot of it that I’ll be adding as I can to my website. =) I couldn’t believe that I was right behind the same hotel… and without you. It felt weird cuz I actually KNEW something somewhere. lol xo
