Psalms 116
1I love the LORD, because He hears
My voice and my supplications.
2Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.
3The cords of death encompassed me
And the terrors of Sheol came upon me;
I found distress and sorrow.
4Then I called upon the name of the LORD:
“O LORD, I beseech You, save my life!”
5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;
Yes, our God is compassionate.
6The LORD preserves the simple;
I was brought low, and He saved me.
7Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
8For You have rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
9I shall walk before the LORD
In the land of the living.
10I believed when I said,
“I am greatly afflicted.”
11I said in my alarm,
“All men are liars.”
12What shall I render to the LORD
For all His benefits toward me?
13I shall lift up the cup of salvation
And call upon the name of the LORD.
14I shall pay my vows to the LORD,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people.
15Precious in the sight of the LORD
Is the death of His godly ones.
16O LORD, surely I am Your servant,
I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid,
You have loosed my bonds.
17To You I shall offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And call upon the name of the LORD.
18I shall pay my vows to the LORD,
Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,
19In the courts of the LORD’S house,
In the midst of you, O Jerusalem.
Praise the LORD!
Psalms 117
1Praise the LORD, all nations;
Laud Him, all peoples!
2For His lovingkindness is great toward us,
And the truth of the LORD is everlasting.
Praise the LORD!
Hopefully, I will be able to write more to my last entry….but if not, I’m sorry. Yes it has potential, but that doesn’t mean it will make it. As for the Psalms, I hope that it touched you as much as it did me…they will, if you let them. It’s God’s word, it will not return void.

who hates it when you say that? but i am going to cut it…soon!! it’s too dang hot here!! i colored it too, it’s like this strawberry blonde sort of color now. i like it…good times, hope all is well in ok. i heart you!!
OH YEAH!! Did you SEE that? She signed my site “DR. AMANIA”!! hmmmmmm Just recollecting something BUT IF I’m correct, which I am, *snide smile* I think SOMEone named “mom” made your very first addy with ORU to be DrAmania@oru.edu! hmmmm VERY interesting if I do brag so myself! LOL Okay, yes, I wasn’t thrilled with some of her stuff either… and I don’t know what to think of some of those cherubs pics but they sure do look cool. I agree on the “perspective” comment, but ya know what? I allows me to not be as perfect as I think it MUST be in order to make good money. I got to do ARTwork on a wall in one of the parade of homes yesterday AND I’ll be doing it again today. Her style is what I must do, WHICH is okay, it’s just not MY style. Actually, who’s to say it’s HER style tho? I mean, if she wanted to paint ANYthing on a wall, would she choose that that I am doing OR am I just doing someone else’s desires on their wall HER way? See what I’m saying? She gets her ideas out of catalogues and magazines and then submits them to contractors with the ideas for the rest of the house. She was requested by TWO different contractors for the Parade of Homes this year. What an honor! ANywho, I need to eat and wait for dady to get home from work so *I* can leave for work… this is why you don’t want to be here by yourself when everyone is in AZ. It’s boring when he’s sleeping and you end up becoming a slug. =P Oh, and I’ll be returning to read your actual log entry next time. =) smoochie
