I wrote this last year in August during the beach trip with mom and Mama Marion while I was sitting out on the pier.  I just found it again and, well, let’s see how you like it.  It’s not very poetic in that it doesn’t rhyme or have a rhythm but I like it.


Deeper

These waves keep crashing all around me
     they tear what’s left to pieces
I know that I must go in deeper
     to escape these breakers
But to go in deeper means to not know
     when my feet will touch the bottom
And yet to go in deeper means to not always know
     the evil that surrounds me
Take me out deeper
     even though the depths terrify me
Take me out deeper 
     because You know what’s best for me

There is always so much pressure when writing one of these “About Me” things, as they tend to stick around for quite a while. Well, here goes nothing ;)... I am a voracious devourer of life. I come from a very large family, who I love very much. I love food, both creating it and eating it, even though I have a slight food-handicap (gluten-free, dairy-free).   1. As I was reading that I was just thinking about how much trust is important in a relationship. And who can we trust better than out Father. I luv you Ashely =) oh by the way, I made a 4 on my EOC. Our talk really did help me a lot believe it or not. thank you
