“My Tenacity”
That was my knee-jerk answer…and then I felt the need to refamiliarize myself with the definition.
Ha! You really gotta learn to follow even those little nudges. It’s worth it every time.
You see, when I was born I was born into the Christian world and at my dedication (a ritual in which a child is dedicated to God prayer and the reading of scripture and the speaking of blessings) someone actually spoke this word over me. It was defined for me later as a persistance, a stick-to-it-ativeness. It’s actual definition:
tenacity noun: the quality or fact of being able to grip something firmly; grip.
noun the quality or fact of being very determined; determination.
noun the quality or fact of continuing to exist; persistence.
Man! That…is perfect. May I continue to remember that I value most is my ability to exist. =)
