I decided to take Esther’s “prompt” and make a list of my own….it was too long to put on her comment page.

I love:

music…getting to know people…long (deep) conversations…the quiet of early mornings… the energy of late nights…laughing…crying…connecting with God…sincere hugs that I don’t have to ask for…having conversations with my sisters that don’t include words…seeing a good friend online…chocolate…oriental food…being able to truly read people…being able to be truly read by people…helping people…hugging the little kids… making a fool out of myself for the sake of little kids…reading children’s books…traveling…missions…Europe… the medical field…the organ of the heart…Love…love (not a typo)…being loved…the beach…the mountains…rivers…sunrises…sunsets…happy endings…fairy tales…calculated spontaneity…my family…my friends…my past (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and what Jesus is making of it…a good night’s sleep…down comforters…getting ALL dressed up…the way Jesus made me…the way Jesus made my family…the bon bons…being passionate…people who are hurting…people who are healed…looking forward to see what God is going to do next with the potential He has placed in me…

I think that is enough about me for one night…let me know if I left anything out…

There is always so much pressure when writing one of these “About Me” things, as they tend to stick around for quite a while. Well, here goes nothing ;)... I am a voracious devourer of life. I come from a very large family, who I love very much. I love food, both creating it and eating it, even though I have a slight food-handicap (gluten-free, dairy-free). I am constantly pushing myself to be as honest about who I am as I can be and to grow into a better version of myself. ...As for the rest, you will just have to read through my feed to as I blog it!

  1. funny… I didn’t see any mention of Mr. Darcy at all in there.. ::smile:: and yeah… something about that song… I love it, and I’m sure that all of your reasons are part of mine too.. I remember the first time I realized that God could know me AND be known.. personally.. it was a huge deal. and being older now, I see that it’s the only option.. Jesus said, “many shall come in that day and say, ‘Lord, Lord!'” …and He’ll say “Depart from me, I never knew you!”.. it’s not about knowing about Him, it’s about knowing Him. and that comes with walking with Him… attempting to live out what He’s told you. attempting to live out what you’ve seen in Him. He’s with us, but are we with Him? and not to say you shouldn’t ever look at a tv.. but if it comes before time with Him… what if He was in your house and you just say “OH! Jesus!… It’s so awesome to see you, and you know… I really wish I had the time and energy to fellowship with you, but It’s been a long day, and I’m beat… seems like all I can do is sit in front of the tv right now! whoo, you understand. and besides, I’ll talk to you some other time ok?”.. anyways… just voicing a little bit of what went through my head… it’s no long (deep) conversation, but just my thoughts. I’ll talk to you later.. “love, is it all that you want? is it everything you hoped for?..” yeah.. I’m out.
    Jake…good list, though. as I said to Esther… mine would have most all of those, but I love a lot of things, so my list would encompass everyone’s… and it would be huge. however, you are cool… in fact, you’re too cool. yeah.

  2. You’re right Ashly there is more to life then just going to YWC and drinking coffee (hehe). Well you’re right a lot of things now and days are about coffee and stuff like that… some people are just plain retarded and sit there and drink coffee all day (like Matt and Kris who are sitting next to me hehehe). SOOOO…

  3. Ashly those are some good things to love. Seriously, those are awesome things to love to do. I love some of those things myself. To bad you have to leave tomorrow ={. Keep loving God because he is the only way to Heaven, keep reading the Bible, and keep praying. Read Psalms chapter 1:1-2 and read Proverbs

My dearest dream girl~  How could I tell you what YOU have been created to love?  The list can ALWAYS continue as He reveals more and more to us with every passing day… hence one more thing to love.  I love the sound of the babbling brook out back of our house…….. the one that is going to be babbling outback of MY REMODELLED BEDROOM in the near future!  YES!  and… I… love… saying KIIIIIIIIIdeeeeeeeeee in your ear!
