Lately God has been doing something in my life, more specifically in my heart. I don’t truly know what it is…I just know that something is being rearranged, something is happening. I also know that the enemy is trying really hard to destroy whatever God has recently placed in me. So I offer this song to you. It’s by Bethany Dillion and it expresses how God feels about this situation. I don’t know what, if anything, you are dealing with right now. Maybe you are struggling with the past. Maybe your life is getting ready to make the biggest transition it’s ever made. Maybe you are just living and you are tired. I don’t know….which ever one you are this is for you (from God):
I Believe in you
When there’s nothing to believe, in I believe in you
Forget the past and let My hand in yours be the proof
Though the strong could be My company you’re the one I chose
So remember, I believe in you
I know it feels like every eye is watching you
Waiting for you to fall, expecting you to lose
But I see the victory, so all you have to do
Is remember I believe in you
I believe even when I see you crying
I believe, let Me dream for you
When nothing comes from tryin’
Remember, I believe in you
There will come a day when love will lift you out of here
There will come a day when love will bring the truth
There will come a day when love will free you from your fear
And you’ll remember I believe in you
I believe even when I see you crying
I believe, let Me dream for you
When nothing comes from tryin’
Remember, I believe in you
~Bethany Dillion
May the peace of the Lord wrap around you like a soft familar blanket.

P.S. Jake, one of those lines says “love you will fear you from your fear.” More food for thought.
Yes… love will free you from fear… once again, it goes back to defining love.. God is Love. but He’s definitely more than just a feeling or emotion that comes and goes. no, Malachi says that He’s the Lord and He changes not. Love is an action. and like the old saying goes.. sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t always feel good. but relating to fear… 1 John… “anyone who fears has not been made perfect in love” “perfect love casts out all fear”… and you can’t combat emotions with emotion.. or feelings with feelings, cause that’s no sure victory at all. and the bible says to love your enemy, and that’s definitely a conscious thing. …hope you don’t mind, I’m kinda just talking as it comes… it may not have any pattern, but hope it makes sense even still. but like the bible says “perfect love casts out all fear”… so that line is biblically sound… definitely. love will free you from fear. how it does it? I’m not sure exactly.. however, we all know that the bible is true… once it gets past your head and into your heart, and the word becomes a part of you, it’ll be more clear.. “you” being a general term, as you probably already know. but yes… Love… it’s the most important thing in the whole world.. however, in order to understand what I mean, or why, you have to make sure you know what “love” is.. if it’s only a fleeting feeling or rush, or whatever, then it’s not. but as it is, I’m not talking about that at all. anyways… hope I fed your thought… now comes the walking in it. cause what’s the point of discussing it if it’s not useful in our lives here and now. but like Paul said to Timothy.. “all scripture is God breathed, and is useful…” mmm.. anyways, I’m out! enjoy
Jake
LOVE is. if it were not then nothing else would be either. fear is not trust. love trusts. so perfect love would not worry about anything because there is no need to. If one could understand love then one would never need to fear anything. People who fear have a limited view of God. Thats basically everyone. thats me. you combat emotions with reason. but when you cannot understand the reason then you rely on faith. thats why without faith it is impossible to please God. that was inspiring and i think its going to be a post of mine. oh one last thing. Love can never break a heart. ever. and i dont want to have to say “true” or “real” love because why should the original need adjectives to describe it? the fakes should need to say “selfish love” (which is a contradiction of love) or something like that.
anyways class this morning was awesome. my new saying is going to be a take-off of the naturalist guy. “You really should be a christian, just try it for a year”.

heya my sister!!!! long time no talk…..seriously..its weird lol
Ah yes, it reminds me of when we were reading the book you bought, “Waking the Dead.” God believes for us and in us when we can’t believe in ourselves. Good thing, too! Love HOPES all things! He doesn’t lose faith, because He IS the Author and the Finisher of the very faith He has for us. He can truly say “I have the faith for that” on anything in His will! That’s been one of my peeves of late… people saying “I’ve got the faith for that” when they really haven’t received a word from the Lord about anything concerning this or that, they just want to presume or assume the best about something. Like, this lady on “Deal or No Deal” was some kind of a minister or something. She got to the mid-point of the game and kept wishing for the BIG number to be granted to her at the end. She said she “had the faith for it,” as if wishing for it, being a “good christian” and judging herself worthy of it was what propelled ones faith into truth. Nope, that’s not what He said. He said “faith FIRST comes by HEARING the word of the Lord” not just believing that good things can happen to you. That’s that “name it and claim it” crap that messes with peoples minds. Oh, by the way, she ended up walking away with $5 at the end. LOL Anyways, sorry to be a poopyhead. I know what I DO have the faith for!! Psalm 41! AHHHHH
