I haven’t posted in a while…mostly because I don’t have much to talk about yet outside of classes.  However, God is laying somethings on my heart that I am trying to formulate full thoughts on…in quite a few different areas. More to come on those later.  And until then I wanted to share a song with you that really embodies the peace and rest that I am experiencing.  There is lots of positive change going on…like I feel myself coming back to being the me that a lot of you either never knew or can’t remember.  It’s been a while.  Hopefully you will still be my friend, but I guess I won’t worry about it and leave it in the Father’s hands.  I love you guys.  And now for that promised song:

There is always so much pressure when writing one of these “About Me” things, as they tend to stick around for quite a while. Well, here goes nothing ;)... I am a voracious devourer of life. I come from a very large family, who I love very much. I love food, both creating it and eating it, even though I have a slight food-handicap (gluten-free, dairy-free). Ashley, why would anyone want to NOT be your friend?… if someone is who they say they are “your friend” then they are your friend..til the bitter end…i don’t understand why people stop being friends just because they have changed..in highschool a lot of my friends changed (and not for the better) and they decided that I didn’t want to be their friend anymore and stopped talking to me.. it was sad..anyways I say all that to make the point that someone is not your friend if they can’t stick with you through the changes of life…the bad ones and the good ones…thats what friends are for to be a shoulder to cry on, an ear to talk to, or someone to have fun with and laugh…. I anticipate our friends to undergo many changes this summer, during college, and throughout our lives…but I do NOT anticipate ever walking away from any friendships volunatirly… I can’t speak for the other BonBons but I can speak for myself…Ashley, I’m a lot like a puppy (in many ways) and I will be loyal to a good friend until they tell me not to, and i will love you in sisterly love till the day I die and absolutely NOTHING you do or say can change that… miss you…ttyl.

    and as for your story… I think part of why I left it hanging was cause I didn’t know how exactly to write the end.. I didn’t want to just kill everyone… it was unavoidably noir, but I didn’t want it to be completely bereft of light… just what it is. but yeah, once again, very good Ashley. thank you… and I’ll get your prompt to you sometime in the relatively near future.. I’ll send you Josh’s story too… before I wait a few days and then post that one too… that’s not so dark.. just normal for me ::smile:: and I can be your friend. wouldn’t have it any other way. don’t call me a puppy

  5. I couldn’t be happier.  YourSELF is coming back.  YAY!  I happen to LIKE you… quite a lot, actually.  =)  Perfect song lyrics to go with your post!  Reminds me of “more of you and less of me, more of you and less of me, more of you, more of you, Jesus” kinda.  =) 
    Esther is looking at a car these days too.  It’s white, a 95, and in really good condition with low miles.  Delicious price too.  I dunno, it seems a little TOO nice, and I’m not turning away from a blessing BUT it does make one wonder.  Did you see something this weekend?
