At this time, 3:24 pm, twenty years ago, after 26 hours (or so) of labor I was born…

It doesn’t feel like the world has shifted drastically, but that’s not how life works.  It’s only a nice marker from which to look back and reflect on all that has happened in a short lifetime.  So here I am…no longer a teen.  That will feel funnier later when people ask me how old I am, but for now…I’m just me, and that’s all.  *smile*

“And the wonder of it all is I’m still standing, never planned it and I wonder, where I’ll be next year…”

There is always so much pressure when writing one of these “About Me” things, as they tend to stick around for quite a while. Well, here goes nothing ;)... I am a voracious devourer of life. I come from a very large family, who I love very much. I love food, both creating it and eating it, even though I have a slight food-handicap (gluten-free, dairy-free). HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO YOU!!  i’m glad you liked your package, sorry my letter was a bit lacking, but as i said i didn’t really have the times or the funds to get you a proper card.  but me and joy were pretty proud of our idea, i hope you liked it.  and it’s true, the only time it will seem weird that you are no longer a teen is when people ask how old you are.  enjoy it, revel in it, because before long, you won’t want to tell people how old you are.  i love you and have a scrumtrulescent rest of the summer!!

  5. I DO hope your new dorm room is a bit more beautimous due to this birthday.  Make sure to let Maria know if you want to have these choices continue so that if SHE’s in walmart, she can pick out similarly. heh heh  
    Sorry we weren’t home for most of the day (completely as a family) but life does go on, and you did say you were “just me.”  No need to impress.  Just know you are blessed and you looked beautiful today.  Your hair was PERFECT and I love navy blue on you.  =)  Happy 20th birthday, my first born daughter.
    Now, can we go look for YOUR car!?!?!  =D

  7. <—–  Not twenty anymore and just fine with that.   Yes I was up late, a rarity, however FAR more frequent now that Ashley is home.  I’m going to bed RIGHT after I post and comment.  LOL!  YES, WE DID always say she would drive like an old lady!  OH MY GOSH!  I forGOT about that!!!  LOL!!
