Ha! You thought I forgot! I didn’t. =)
You see, my consideration in the execution of this plan is not a militant 100 days where I hurt myself and burnout, never to try again. It’s to teach myself that doing this is fun and worth the doing. And! Can be done in such a way that sees to the wellness of my body long term. So when my back gets hurt, I pause. I don’t tell myself to marshal on ignoring the signal I have recieved.
And in the end, I get my longest deadhang at the expense of….nothing. Because I care about me and my wellness and I have listened to my body. And I have reinforced the idea that it can trust me with the signals it sends.
Magical Coffee
You can make this one of two ways.
You can make cold brew using your favorite recipe and adding a cinnamon stick or a 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon for every quart of cold brew made. Also add 4 tbsp of sugar for every quart.
Or, you can do it the “easy” way I did in order to save some coffee I might have wasted otherwise:
1qt of hot brewed coffee
4 tbsp of turbinado sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
All in a mason jar, stirred until sugar dissolves. Placed in the fridge overnight.Whip together some cold foam (1 cup heavy cream, 1 tbsp of powdered sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla). Pour coffee over ice. Add cream to desired level and enjoy!
This was my way of not wasting already brewed coffee and not ruining it by putting it back in the microwave.
How is your journey going? Have you given up?
-A
P.S. this is take 2 because I did complete another day 13 I just didn’t record it…because…well…depression can be a bitch.
