Breakfast: 3 egg omelet with dairy free cheddar, coffee with half & half turbinado
Deadhang: 15 seconds…ish
Lunch: Chicken Soup and biscuits with butter
Workout: Completed-Cardio
One of the life hacks I have learned is that you can use the faceless masses held in the internet to hold you accountable….even if they don’t know they are doing it…even if they don’t care they are doing it.
Another life hack I have been working on harnessing is embracing the chaos/transition. Life is going to create transitions- endings of relationships, changing jobs, time changes, death, etc- why not allow yourself permission to transform your life, on purpose. Because after all, “it’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.” So, if the change is already happening, why not try inserting some new little microchanges…or, even, macrochanges while you are at it. All it takes is your deciding.
I am going through another such minor portal and I have decided to repurpose this blog….again. =)
Since I chose this handle “eating my way through it,” I have asked myself what precisely am I eating my way through. Sure, I created the tagline of “Carpe Motherfucking Diem” but I still felt it deserved more structure. So! It’s becoming my….becoming journey.
I have this goal to hike this terrifying and gorgeous trail in Hawaii. To pull it off, I am going to need to step up my physical game. So, here we go. Day 1, in the books.
….and a yes, I know that deadhang score should even have made the list….and yet if I put it up there I will have to continue to work on it or suffer the embarassment of knowing that the Internet knows it never changed enough to report.
